ROOTS of COVID-19: HIGHLIGHTING THE FUTURE

ROOTS of COVID-19: HIGHLIGHTING THE FUTURE

(Online Meeting)

14 Oct 2021 (15.00-17.00 Istanbul Time Zone)

While many countries of the world have been struggling with the COVID-19 pandemic for about 1.5 years, many cities and countries have now started to take their first steps for rebuilding after the ongoing disruption in the economy and social life. However, it has been observed that most of the countries are not at the same level of readiness for new and emerging mass threats and technologies.

From this aspect, we are proud to announce the Panel “ROOTS of COVID-19: HIGLIGTHNING THE FUTURE” that will be held on 14th   October 2021 as a fully digital event. This Panel is one of the series of CBRN MEETINGS organized by the Turkish CBRN Society (CBRN Defence Policy Development Center).

This online panel will try to examine the theories suggesting how the COVID-19 emerged and the potentials for its roots, not only from a medical point of view, but also from economic and international relations dimensions. So, we aim in this panel, which will try to reveal the origins and birth pattern of COVID-19, to bring together important speakers  internationally known with this specific point related with COVID-19 and to highlight the subject from the point of biowarfare which is a part of CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear) phenomenon to guide the future.
