“CBRNe Disaster & Incident Medical Management” Training With the collaboration of Italy & Turkiye CBRN Training Centers

An 'CBRNe Disasters and Incident Medical Management' training is organized with the aim of increasing awareness about the increasing CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear) threats in today's world and expanding capabilities.
In collaboration with the European Center for Disaster Medicine (CEMEC), Tor Vergata University Institute of Rome, San Marino University, Italy's CBRN Security and Defense Center (OSDIFE), and the Turkish Medical CBRN Department of the University of Health Sciences (UHS), theoretical and practical lectures will be provided in the following topics in a face-to-face English course to be held on September 19-20, 2023, at the UHS CBRN Training and Simulation Center.
• CBRN risks and new threat scenarios
• CBRN agents and exposure effects
• Detection of CBRN agents (at the incident scene and medically)
• CBRN Protection
• CBRN Decontamination
• CBRN Incident Scene Management
Throughout the course, an interactive teaching method will be employed to ensure direct participation of the participants in the lessons. In addition to scenario-based group exercises related to CBRN incident scene management, practical applications will also include medical case simulations on CBRN mannequine, correct donning of masks and equipment under real agent exposure, and decontamination training scenarios in the testing chambers. At the end of the course, participants will be provided with a 'Certificate of Attendance'.
